We were contacted by the Puig company to bring to life Carolina Herrera’s Christmas campaign for 2023. And we consider this project our first Christmas present of that year as we were lucky enough to carry it out a long time in advance.
The piece is a Christmas card that gives way to the brand’s catalogue. Well, it’s not simply that. Safia Ouares, one of the most prominent hands in drawing for luxury brands, illustrated a mesmerising cosmos and the commission was to transfer this into a magical journey through the stars.
Stars, crystal, metal… Thanks to a pure 3D approach, any material in here can shine. Taking Safia’s drawings and the real fragrances and makeup packs as the foundation, we created all the 3D elements, carefully defining how each perfume and product should be presented and illuminated. Every item flows in a graceful dance through deep stagings and optical illusions.
In addition to the video piece, the commission also included taking the delicate star map to the print version of the campaign. Both pieces were finely enhanced by the combination of red and gold, which, of course, are the iconic tones in Carolina Herrera’s palette and also the official colours of Christmas. A piece with the magical touch this season has for all of us.
